Stockport Libraries proudly presents the OUTing the Past festival in Feb. 2020

Stockport Libraries is feeling loud and proud to be a cultural hub for OUTing the Past. All through February 2020 we have an exciting programme of events planned to celebrate LGBT+ Month.

 This starts in style on Saturday 1st February with a free, varied and thought-provoking series of presentations chosen in conjunction with our LGBT+ partners across Stockport. All the OTP presentations have been carefully picked from an amazing array of speakers to appeal to a wide audience, offering a look at our LGBT+ history from new and different perspectives.

This is very much inline with the Stockport Libraries ethos which ensures we are open to all and at the heart of the community. This year we are one of 22 OTP venues in the UK, Ireland and USA. Speakers will join us from far and wide with some home-grown talent included.
